...to neutral

From easy to hard or hard to easy which one is easier to get to the middle?

If the feeling pressure (in the sense of unpleasurable painful discomfort) and the feeling release (as in the sense of good tantalizing pleasure) is what guides the driving forces of our lives then is it easier to go to hard or hard to easy to get to neutral?

Understanding this question's answer is of "Gold Medal Status."

Instructions on how to understanding this concept:
1. Observe yourself from outside yourself in some comfortable way.
2. Become aware of parts of you that are unaware of you and keep it that way.
3. Observe.
4. Notice the scripts running through your mind.
5. Acknowledge you are a larger part of something bigger than the behaviors written into those scripts.
6. Make this acknowledgement as often as you can throughout your days.
7. Feel deep gratitude for this special awareness.
8. Do this everyday for three days.
